Our products and brands policy
With some 150 years of experience with our staff in audio-visual and IT, we’ve seen the consequences of organisations buying cheap, no-brand AV products. It’s not value for money for you, and it doesn’t translate into profit for us.
Our commitments to you are:
- We only sell reputable brands from manufacturers that make reliable products and are physically represented in Australia to back up their comprehensive warranties and service commitments.
- We don’t import products, so there’s no chance for a “grey import”. (These are products unofficially imported into Australia which means that the manufacturer’s warranty is void and the product may not work in Australia, eg. some DVD players, set top boxes.)
- We don’t sell second-hand products.
Our pricing guarantee
To offer you the lowest prices, we’ve done the following:
- Negotiated great deals with the manufacturers which we pass on to you – No middlemen!
- No expensive retail space – just a simple industrial unit in Artarmon, Sydney.
- Just in time ordering and delivery from the manufacturer/distributor to you
- Payment before delivery so no bad debt for us means lower price for you.
- Solid after-sales support is in your interest and ours; if you have a real problem please call us for help.
- A growing suite of online content to provide advice and to support your decision making. You’re also welcome to talk with our AV Consultants for free for up to 10 minutes, after which a fee may apply.
This means we have some of the tightest margins in the country, so if you find a cheaper price on a product we sell (from an Australian company and with GST included), we’d like to hear about it:
- Maybe we haven’t yet updated our pricing – We deal with over 100 brands and 10,000 items.
- Maybe it’s a “grey import” – unofficially imported into Australia.
- Maybe our competitor has done a better job at negotiating with the manufacturer – we’re always happy for the ammunition to push our suppliers further.
So contact us and we’ll do our best to better any legitimate price from any Online Store, Retailer or Wholesaler!
Volume buys
If you’re purchasing 2 of the same item, you’ll receive an automatic discount. If you’re buying in volumes of 3 or more, we have the chance to go back to the manufacturers for additional discounts, so contact us for special pricing.
Promotions
Having strong relationships with the manufacturers, means we’re able to arrange sale specials and offer run-out models. So if you’re interested and subscribe with us, we will email those details out to you.
Delivery Commitment
Due to the range of products sold, ProjectorsOnline does not generally warehouse stock, instead we normally arrange for direct shipping from our suppliers. Having dealt with these suppliers for up to 9 years, we have a good handle on the timings involved with getting products delivered. The expected timings are identified when you select an item.
Generally, products purchased from ProjectorsOnline are shipped by couriers, with much of it direct shipped from the manufacturer to your work / home address. However, you can select an alternative delivery method including:
- To a courier depot
- To a Post Office branch.
- Pick-up from our Artarmon office.

Payment security & flexibility
ProjectorsOnline protects you by only processing your payment once we are sure the goods ordered are available. This will usually occur within 4 working hours.
You protect us (and our low prices) by appreciating that we require “cleared funds” before delivery.
We accept the following payment types:
- Credit/Debit cards - Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard. Please note, credit card payments incur a 2% processing fee to cover the bank’s additional charges and administration. We do not accept American Express or Diners cards.
- Direct Deposit / Internet Bank Transfers
- Cheques – Business, personal or bank
- Cash – Only at our Artarmon premises.
After sales support
We happily comply with the statutory obligations for consumer protection so we have a pretty simple after-sales support approach.
If you identify any problems when you receive the goods, contact us and we will work through a checklist with you to confirm what the actual problem is with the product purchased. If it’s due to a fault of ours or the manufacturers we will arrange for its repair, replacement or refund as appropriate.
